So, I was just wondering if anyone had a better idea of the different laws out there for online poker playing. Nowadays, with all these new laws about online poker in the States, I'm wondering if there are any laws here in Canada about playing online? I haven't noticed but are there any online poker rooms that Canadians can't play in or is it strickly Americans that aren't accepted now in some rooms?

Can anyone shed some light on the situtation? If there are such rooms I'd love to know which ones.

I understand your concerns. It is crazy in the online poker world (pardon the pun).

But, Canadians are pretty well off...except for losing Neteller, Canadians can play at any of the rooms we advertise on Big Fish here. The only exception is BODOG - Calvin Ayre (owner of Bodog) doesn't want to have to move to some island no one has heard of!

It is a little more tricky for U.S. players. It is a bit chaotic out there for them in terms of rooms and payment processors. But, I believe it will get better soon (crossing fingers)...

I will post a list of rooms for USA players shortly for our neighbours to the south.

In the meantime, don't worry, keep playing and keep making your views public so that your personal freedoms aren't infringed on like in the USA.

what did you say? I don't speak Canadian. Coupled with the fact that I don't have access to the internet right now, I don't think our communications stand a chance.
